It's the first week of 2023! Are you ready to take on the New Year? I know I am. If you've been following me on instagram, you know that I'm guiding my community through a transformation journey. I have to confess - I am terrified! I've never attempted to work with people at this scale, and I really want to be able to quit my job and focus on this work full time. In embarking on this, I've had to make some changes to my business. Will they resonate? Will I have to change it again? I don't have all the answers yet, but I'm committed to following my intuition and putting myself out there.
As promised, although Daily Tarot has ended, I will still be providing weekly guidance in a similar style. In between these weekly readings and the daily transformation journey tidbits, we'll be seeing a lot of each other this year! Read for your sun and/or rising, and don't forget to subscribe to my newsletter so you'll be the first to know when these posts go live. I'm also in the process of launching a Patreon, so be on the lookout for that as well!
Before you bend over backwards for others, focus on how you can love yourself better. In 2022, you spent a lot of time caring for the needs of your family and friends, while neglecting to check in with yourself. How can you create better habits and boundaries this new year? Take a pause before you commit to anything major. Say "no" more. Can you do it all? Yes, you can, but whether you should is another question.
The time off from work that you've taken for the holidays has opened your eyes to what "rest" really means. Do you feel overworked? Are you taking on the workload of your colleagues? You can ask for assistance whenever you need it. Don't feel like you have to sacrifice yourself for your company. It feels like "purpose," but being overworked and underpaid isn't really a virtue.
Be confident as you move through this week. It may not always feel this way, but people are inspired by you. You can make bold decisions and trust that you will get exactly what you need out of it. Focus on the bigger picture - if you go down the rabbit hole of little details, you'll end up overwhelming yourself.
What better way to start off your new year by romanticizing it a little bit? Savor your daily routine. Do everything a little bit slower today. What's the rush? It's easy to get swept away in the excitement of starting a new chapter, but don't pressure yourself into a "new year, new me" - especially if you didn't spend too much time enjoying the present you in 2022.
For some reason, you haven't been the most thrilled about a new year coming. 2022 was rough for many of you Leo placements, and though there were many wonderful moments, there was still a lot of pain. There is still so much for you to look forward to. Don't allow the heaviness to make you lose hope. Peaks and valleys can't exist without each other. What are some of the things that you can look forward to this year?
You're no stranger to being resourceful! You have a goal in life that you want to accomplish, you have the resources to accomplish it...the only thing holding you back is fear. It's called a leap of faith for a reason! If it all feels like it's too much for you, take it a little slowly. You don't have to do it all at once, but take steady steps each day to move closer to your dreams. Once you get the hang of it, it'll begin to feel effortless.
Life is feeling a little hectic right now. At times, you may have trouble following your own inner voice. Maybe it's time to take a step back and turn within. With social media, work, and your community, sometimes it's hard for you to determine what thoughts and feelings are truly yours. As you start the new year, come back to yourself.
Time for a new chapter to begin, and it's not a coincidence that the top of a new year is the best time for that. There are so many things in store for you, you just have to put in the work to ensure that they remain consistent. Faith, an adventurous spirit, and trusting that you're exactly where you're supposed to be will take you a long way. Anyone who tells you not to follow your destined path might be projecting their own fears onto you.
Is there something that's been keeping you up at night lately? You've been feeling a little anxious about life in general. As time passes and new years come, more and more you wonder about your purpose and why you're here. The work that you do sometimes does not feel like it resonates. What steps can you take towards nourishment of your soul? Getting a hobby that doesn't lead to profit? Spending actual quality time with your friends?
Patience is key for you as you begin the new year. You're anticipating a lot of change and forward momentum, but not everything is going to happen at once. Focus on cleansing your energy and preparing for blessings. Do a sweep of your space, both physical and emotional. Think of the things you really need to change in your life in order to make space for the fruits of the work you've been putting in.
If you've let people walk all over you in the past, that tune will change this new year as you come into your own and grow more comfortable in who you are. Your voice will be opening many doors for you, so it's important that you find it, use it, and love it. It'll also be worth it for you to become more strict with your boundaries and begin to enforce them. It's possible to be firm but also warm.
It's been nice not having a set plan for your future, but you should start putting some structure to things. That can look like a simple daily routine to help you ease into and out of your day, or even a monthly plan for how you'll spend your time with others and with yourself. Going with the flow can be fun, but it won't be sustainable if you have certain things that you aspire to achieve.
